The Career Readiness West Virginia initiative is a collaborative partnership to develop a sustainable future for the next generation of the workforce. The partnership encourages career exploration for all West Virginia students through efforts such as workplace tours, job shadowing, job fairs, internships, integrated pathways, and speaker series.

Participants will have the opportunity to review the HR Skills Advisory Council’s Report on Continuing Challenges and Best Practices.  After breakfast and the business portion of the meeting, participants will be divided into 4 sub-groups aligned with the 4 focus areas of the report noted below.  Participants will choose the topic(s) of their choice.  Facilitators will then guide a discussion of the survey res

From 1996 through 2016, 361 out of 426 of the global companies who engaged Cultivisor to assist with their Talent Development programs (84.7%) have rated their employee appraisals as less than 80% effective in stimulating sustained positive job performance behavioral change.  During this meeting, we will explore the techniques and tools needed to build a more effective employee appraisal program.

The Harvard Risk Management Corporation is an expert in identity theft.  2015 was a record year for data breaches and identity theft has been the largest complaint to the Federal Trade Commission for 14 years in a row.  In 2015, over 169,000,000 records where exposed with Business data breaches up almost 20% over 2014 and Banking/Credit/Financial data breaches up over 84%.
