About Us

Established in 2007, the award-winning EPSHRM chapter was founded by a dedicated and enthusiastic group of local HR professionals.  EPSHRM offers monthly meetings for its members and guests. The meetings are intended to offer education, knowledge and networking opportunities for the attendees to further enhance their working knowledge of HR and strengthen their position and contribution within their department or organization. 

In 2017, national SHRM recognized EPSHRM with the prestigious Excel Platinum Chapter Award. This award is the highest chapter honor recognizing outstanding achievements in chapter operations and a commitment to providing meaningful programs and services to our members. EPSHRM first received Excel Award recognition in 2015 as a Bronze Chapter.

 EPSHRM meetings are typically held the second Wednesday of each month beginning with breakfast and networking at 8 am at Blue Ridge CTC Technical Center located at 5550 Winchester Avenue (Rte. 11 South) in Martinsburg, WV 25405. During the pandemic, EPSHRM meetings are held virtually.
