    SHRM Policy Priorities & One-Pagers

On June 29, SHRM Government Affairs hosted its second quarterly Core Leadership Area (CLA) webcast. Click here to watch the recording or here to download the slides. With the ever-changing employment policies, SHRM has been busy ensuring members voices are heard! SHRM Government Affairs has created several workplace policy one-pagers that articulate our state, federal, and global priorities and efforts.

DHS announced that its highly anticipated final rule for the Optional Alternative to the Physical Examination Associated with Employment Eligibility Verification (“Remote I-9”) will be released sometime this August. SHRM intends to submit a letter to DHS urging these Form I-9 flexibilities be extended until a final rule on Remote Verification is implemented.

SHRM Government Affairs calls on SHRM members to sign on to this as soon as possible. Click here to sign on to SHRM’s letter or text FLEXIBILITY to 52886.
