Speaker: Daniel Speis, MSW, LICSW, Founder and Therapist at Inner Awakening Counseling & Consultation,PLLC, Martinsburg, WV
Daniel Speis, MSW, LICSW is the owner of Inner Awakening Counseling & Consultation, PLLC, where he provides counseling to families, couples, and individuals of all ages helping them to heal, grow, and transform their lives. He is a clinical social worker with expertise in treating trauma, complicated grief, mood disorders, and severe anxiety through the use of an eclectic blend of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy approaches. He is also a trained EMDR practitioner. Daniel’s former experience includes serving as the Coordinator of Grief Support & Spiritual Care Services with Hospice of the Panhandle, and as a therapist for Catholic Charities. Daniel has also served as an adjunct social work instructor for both Salisbury University and Shepherd University.
