“Activate Your Own Fun Dept” is an interactive workshop designed to engage leaders, managers, HR professionals and administrators of organizations in current research and trending opportunities for using fun as a valuable tool to further engage your organization and your people.  The workshop details The Fun Dept’s research-based model (The Laws of Fun) while offering a creative outlet – your very own Creative Inventory – of opportunities and ideas for how to utilize fun at work.

Participants will be introduced to research theory in leadership development, employee engagement, team building, creativity and design.  The workshop encourages small-group work and collaboration amongst all participants.  Each participant will walk away with tools and next steps to ACTIVATE their very own Fun Dept.

Hosted by Nick Gianoulis, Founder/Godfather of Fun, The Fun Dept.  Nick founded The Fun Dept. after experiencing firsthand the enhanced culture and business results of fun during his 20-year corporate management tenure with a company that embraced a “work hard, play hard” culture. As the resident Godfather of Fun, Nick oversees creative development and strategic growth of the company, while keeping an active schedule of keynotes and media appearances.

Nick is an adventure junkie at heart who loves people, travel and the outdoors. In his spare time his drug of choice is mountain biking but also enjoys running, paddle boarding, the beach, para gliding and yoga. Nick and his beautiful new bride, Maria, have six amazing children between them that are a constant source of inspiration, love and joy. A social animal, Nick cherishes his time with friends, family and meeting new and interesting people around the world. He aspires to one day be a part-time greeter at a WaWa store near a beautiful beach.

Please note: Registration begins at 8 AM. Please come early to enjoy breakfast and network before the workshop, which begins promptly at 8:30 AM.
